Hackathon: Anti-Slopathon hosted by Ellis, Build, and Veris AI

The Anti-Slopathon is a hackathon for technologists, creatives, and artists across NYC to build AI-powered tools, games, and experiences where form is weighted equally with function—no ugly, generic work allowed. Compete individually or in teams of 2–4, use AI to ship, but show thoughtful design judgment and user listening; judges include an exited health-tech founder, indie game developer, and founding engineer at an applied AI company. Winners receive prizes including a free indie game copy, plus all participants get a visa waiver from Ellis (H1B, TN, H1B1, E3 eligible), with support from Build and Veris AI as sponsors.
